Wicked happy I found Joey and his shop ramb. 2013 and at 150k my Trans went out got a few estimates then I happen to tell a juy I coach with about my truck and he said see Joey he's a transmission wiz . Of the places I went I felt Joe was gonna build the best Trans took the time to explain his build and he knew I tow with the truck and as rhe build progressed he upgraded and built the best transmission for my needs then during the build my daughters cat had an issue she went there and Joey's employee that I know from yrs ago came out and put her car on a computer to diagnose what we hoped wasn't an issue but a Trans but due to the car she decided to buy a new one but she would have had Joe build he's also if she kept the car in short Joey and his guys went out of there way and we spent some time talking since we're both originally from the east coast . If u need an honest shop which many turn out not to always be go see total automotive and performance Joey and his employees are a great group of guys and I already have my father-in-law going to seebthem soon 5stars for sure don't pass this shop by it may look all as u pull up but don't think u will get a better transmission build any were not my first rebuild in my life but this is the one I'm most excited about when the other option is to replace my truck with another for $80k or more this was the best option to keep a truck I likeEric j messina 11/24

Joey and his team take great care to diagnose issues with both of my vehicles and takes the time to explain the issue at a reasonable cost. I'll continue to take my vehicles to total automotive.

Took my 72 SS El Camino in for some wiring and ignition work Joey was knowledgeable staff very professional and knowledgeable and did everything he said he was going to do and then some even painted a bracket that I didn't have painted on the alternator, it's those little things that we customers can appreciate, thanks again Joey:-)#will be back

Quality work comes at a certain cost & it is money very well spent. Me, I tried to do it on my own. I replaced all the parts that YouTube said could cause the issue I was having, being the computer, coil, sensors & battery. It still wouldn't run, so I turned to Total Auto & Performance for their Free Diagnostics.What I got was total honesty, technical proficiency, and a full & detailed explanation of just what was wrong, how much was wrong, and how much they didn't charge me for. They even worked with me on shop time.It turned out to be the fuel pump & a few little things. I had replaced all the wrong parts that were fine as is. No, it wasn't cheap. It wasn't cheap I needed. I needed a Professional. Being cheap cost me an extra $800 in parts & weeks of my time. I got every penny's worth of what I paid a Pro.Lesson Learned.
